Every writer has a well of inspiration—things that light a fire in their soul, fuel their creativity, and keep them going. For me, that inspiration comes from a mix of music, movies, art, books, and even video games.
🎵 Music: My playlist is as eclectic as my writing. I vibe to Kenny Chesney, Kip Moore, and Luke Combs when I need a country escape, but I also love the 90s rock era—Goo Goo Dolls, Train, and others that shaped my teenage years.
🎬 Movies: Top Gun is a classic that never gets old. I’m a sucker for thrillers like The Da Vinci Code and Shooter. Mystery, action, and a little intrigue? That’s my kind of entertainment.
🎨 Art: There’s something about Starry Night that pulls me in. Maybe it’s the movement, the emotion, or just the sheer beauty of it, but it’s my all-time favorite.
📚 Books: From the action-packed worlds of James Patterson and Robert Ludlum to the raw, real storytelling of The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, my bookshelf is stacked. The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and anything by Tom Clancy round out my top picks. And, of course, I have a special place for my indie author collection.
🎮 Video Games: Diablo, Baldur’s Gate, and my go-to classic, Madden 2009. Because sometimes, you just need to slay demons or dominate the field.
