Coffee vs. Tea: A Writer’s Fuel
80% of the time, I am a coffee guy. There’s something about the bold aroma of a fresh brew, the first sip that jolts my mind awake, and the steady caffeine drip that fuels my late-night writing sessions. Whether it’s a dark roast, an espresso shot, or a smooth cup of black coffee with just a splash of cream, coffee is my go-to companion for the grind.
But then, there are moments when the world slows down. When the words need coaxing rather than rushing. That’s when I reach for tea. Vermont Maple Ginger is my favorite—it’s warm, smooth, and carries a hint of home. Perfect for curling up with a book or letting inspiration unfold at its own pace.
The worst coffee I’ve ever had? A gas station brew that tasted like burnt rubber and regret. The best? A perfectly crafted espresso in a tiny café, where every sip felt like poetry.
So, which wins? For me, coffee takes the crown—but tea holds its own when the mood is right.
