Dream On

✨✍️ Dreams don’t always arrive quietly.

Sometimes they build over time — layer by layer — until one day you realize they’ve become a roadmap.

My dreams as a writer are many… and they are full.

At the heart of it all is a calling to teach. My ultimate goal is to become an online adjunct professor in creative writing — to help guide, challenge, and inspire the next generation of writers finding their voice in the dark and learning how to shape it into something powerful.

Right now, I’m also working toward finishing my MFA in Creative Writing, along with my certificate in teaching writing online through Southern New Hampshire University — both expected to be completed within the next year. That milestone isn’t just a degree… it’s a doorway into the future I’m building.

But before stepping fully into teaching, I want to learn the industry from the inside out.

I’ve been pursuing opportunities in editing and proofreading, looking to step into the publishing world and understand the craft from another angle. I’ve applied for internships with major publishers like W. W. Norton & Company and Penguin Random House — not just for the name, but for the experience, the knowledge, and the chance to grow within the industry.

Right now, I’m standing at the edge of something new: freelancing.

Writing.
Ghostwriting.
Editing.
Reviews.
Marketing collaboration with other authors.

I want to explore it all — to become not just a writer, but a well-rounded professional in this field. Someone who understands every layer of what it means to bring a story into the world.

And of course… the stories themselves.

I’m working toward publishing both of my espionage thriller series:
📖 The John Orion Series
📖 The Asset Series

Do I want to make money from it? Of course. That’s part of the dream.

But more than that, I want to build connections.
To network.
To collaborate.
To become part of a larger creative community that supports and elevates one another.

One dream that keeps returning to me is creating a free-flow, open-style poetry class through my website — a space where writers can explore without pressure, without rigid rules, just expression and growth. The only thing standing in the way right now is building the right system behind it — the LMS, the structure, the foundation to make it sustainable.

But that’s the thing about dreams…

They don’t have to be finished to be real.

They just have to be pursued.

Every application sent.
Every word written.
Every connection made.

It’s all part of the same path forward.

And I’m walking it — one step, one story, one opportunity at a time. 🖤
