March of the Writers – Day 31: To Be Continued…

By @RWhiteAuthor

As March comes to a close, so does this incredible journey through March of the Writers. For 31 days, we’ve explored our passions, reflected on our inspirations, shared our challenges, and celebrated our writing lives. Each day has been a new opportunity to dive deeper into what it means to be a writer—our motivations, our struggles, our dreams.

This month has reminded me why I write. It’s not just about putting words on a page; it’s about connection. It’s about the stories waiting to be told, the emotions we pour into every sentence, and the community we build along the way. Through prompts that made us think, share, and grow, we’ve all been part of something bigger—something that will carry forward long after March is gone.

Looking Ahead

So, what’s next? For me, the journey continues with some big steps:

✨ Finishing my BA in English and Creative Writing and moving toward my MFA.

✨ The W.W. Norton internship—if I’m lucky enough to secure it, it will be a game-changer for my publishing aspirations.

✨ Writing, writing, and more writing. My novel, my poetry, and new creative projects are waiting to be brought to life.

✨ Teaching in the future. I hope to one day guide and inspire new writers the way I’ve been inspired by others.

This isn’t the end—it’s just the beginning. The words won’t stop, the stories won’t fade, and the passion for writing will only grow stronger.

Let’s Stay Connected!

I’d love to keep this momentum going and stay connected with all the amazing writers I’ve met along the way. Here’s how you can follow my journey:

Whether it’s sharing new work, discussing the writing process, or simply supporting each other, let’s continue marching forward—because every story deserves to be told.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to the next chapter!

Now that April is here, that means it’s time to celebrate National Poetry Month—a time to embrace the beauty of language, the power of verse, and the endless possibilities of self-expression. Whether you’re a lifelong poet or just discovering the magic of poetry, this month is all about honoring the craft, exploring new forms, and letting words shape emotions, stories, and experiences.

Throughout the month, I’ll be diving into the world of poetry, sharing my own pieces, and joining the NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month) challenge. You can follow along here as I take on daily prompts, explore different poetic styles, and push my creativity to new heights. You can also check out the official NaPoWriMo website to join in and discover poets from all around the world. Let’s celebrate poetry together—where light meets darkness, and every word carries the power to transform.
