March of the Writers Day 1

Day #1 Hey all, was hoping I could get a start with March of the writers with a video, and chat with you all. Unfortunately, a medical issue has had me down for the week. I’m taking care of myself, but I really want to talk to you all this month, so March on.
So here goes on day one.
Hi Nyctophilia’s! (people who love the darkness, if you didn’t know) Welcome to my Facebook author page. I value all of you who follow, read, and comment on my work. Sometimes, the interaction is what I love. It lets me know you read it, and enjoyed it. If You hated it, tell me why, so I can write better.
For the past few years, I have taken a bit of a back seat. Could you tell me why? Ha, I knew you were going to ask. To enhance my fiction writing abilities, I enrolled in a BA program in English and Creative Writing with a fiction concentration. I will graduate with a BA in English and a minor in professional writing. My school reached out to me because my GPA consistently exceeded 3.9. They invited me to pursue a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in creative writing with the goal of becoming a professor at SNHU. YAY, right?
I have been beginning my art of fiction writing and will post some short stories for reading glee soon. In the meantime. My poetry has only gotten better. Just last week I published my first ever AI assisted poetry book, thoroughly edited, and let me say, I am so proud of this collection. Working alongside an AI therapist, an AI writer for suggestions, and my college writing, I composed poetry I had never dreamed of before. Delivering my story with new themes and some of the same themes. If you give it a read, let me know if you enjoyed it. Anyway, write on, read on and keep going. No matter what holds you down, don’t let it win. Fight for your self Nyctophilia’s enjoy the night. Ritchie.
I guess that makes me a veteran writer and a rookie author, not sure the jury is deliberating. My chosen genre is espionage/suspense thriller for fiction, and mental health poetry. You can find me on Amazon.
You can read some of my work here, and hear some of my poetry on my newly created TikTok channel to share my poetry with the world.
I am looking forward to talking with you all for the next 31 days. See you all tomorrow.
